True. He was the example last deadline. I guess I mean to say "serviceable" defenseman.

I'd like to see them remove Paul Martin from the lineup once in a while. He's our slowest defense-man, and though he adds veteran leadership, he's beat on too many simple plays. Move Demelo up to that pairing with Burns and develop him more before the playoffs begin. That'll also provide time for Martin to rest going into the playoffs, where we'll definitely need the 7 defense-man. Don't just sit on a hidden gem like Demelo... as he'll eventually move on like Josh Gorges did years ago and become a leader in Montreal. Should've kept him.

DeBoer missed his chance to play Dell more to see what he really is. I would have been ok with Reimer starting playoff games last year if it came to that. i dont feel that way about Dell.

Considering we already dont have a 2nd or 3rd rounder for the next 2 yrs i am not sure what quality skater we could acquire at this point.

Well at least we have 2 6th rounders and 3 7th rounders this year. We're really stocking up on draft picks

DW tends to do better in those rounds then in 2 and 3 anyway.
